KRZYSZTOF PASIEKA
Owner of the KP KNIVES brand
The knives I am showing you were and are made only out of passion, not for money
or profit. My father and grandfather made them, and they also made them out of passion.
The topic of knives has never been alien to me, but in 2017 I started to seriously
deal with the topic of handmade knives.
Previously, I didn't even think about creating them, thinking that it was a topic I wouldn't explore. However, having a workshop, experience in metal processing, willingness and a bit of common sense, I started to explore this topic via the Internet, where I met many valuable people, thanks to whom I knew where to start, where and how to avoid many mistakes. Many didn't believe it, but thanks to their perseverance and kindness, they laughed
and help, as well as many hours spent in the workshop, you can see the effects and evaluate them yourself.
I approach each knife very individually and emotionally. Sometimes I get an idea from the work of other people, sometimes I let my imagination run wild, and sometimes a series of mistakes or experiments result in a quite interesting project.
The time needed to make a knife is a very individual matter and depends on many factors. From the very beginning, I have focused on quality, both in terms of equipment and materials, and I never cut corners.
My knives are individual and reflect my character. Each of them is different and unique. I don't allow two identical ones to be created. I accept criticism and good advice, it motivates me to continue working.
