D&G Homes specializes in constructing high-quality custom modular homes. We pride ourselves on contributing well-built homes to Petoskey and the surrounding areas. From the beginning, special care is put into guiding customers to select the right floor plan that fits their property and suits their needs.
We collaborate with the best modular home factories in the industry, giving customers options to fit their budget, and use the buying power from the factory to drive down the overall cost.
Many projects include on-site improvements our team can complete: a garage, porch, rear deck, fireplace, custom tile shower, flooring and finished basement.

Why we do what we do
The demand for affordable housing wasn’t a center of focus in 1995 like it is today. Back then, modular construction was simply a way to provide a well-built home in a shorter time frame than a traditional stick-built home.

Home foundations
Our preferred foundation is ICF (insulated concrete form): a poured wall with 2½″ of polystyrene on either side. It creates an insulated foundation that provides a dry, robust living space for generations.
Drywall covers the inside walls and stucco is installed on the exterior to meet local building codes.

Mike Denison
Founder
Mike owned and operated D&G Interiors, a local drywall company, for nearly 40 years. His history with modular homes began in the early 1990s, and he has built homes in Vantage View, Estate Drive and Oakridge Farms, along with dozens more from Harbor Springs to Boyne Falls. He also teaches drywall to Petoskey and Boyne City Building Trades students.
